A local doctor in Philadelphia has said that Ugg boots can cause 'serious' problems with your feet and that if not dealt with soon, wearers could need surgery to correct the damage from the lack of support boots.
He's come up with an solution though...
"What I've been doing is making them a sport orthotic, the type of orthotic you use for running even tennis. Making it fit the Uggs. If it fits the sneaker, it will fit the Uggs.
Still, not sure how much I'd take his advice, he thinks they look good as well.
