Noida rape case: 2 more arrested

Noida, Jan 10: The investigations into the Noida gang rape case saw some success as two more persons were arrested by the police on Saturday.

According to reports, those arrested have been identified as Shashikant and Golu.

One of the two suspects was picked up from the Noida Expressway, while the other one was arrested near Garhi Chowkhandi village.

Meanwhile, the police have also recovered the victim’s mobile phone from Shashikant.

The police have also launched a massive manhunt in Noida and adjoining areas for two other suspects, who are still on the run.

The investigations conducted so far suggests the involvement of as many as 11 persons in the alleged rape case.

Police have so far arrested nine persons in connection with the case. Police is confident of arresting the other two accused in the case as it has obtained vital clues from the two suspects, who were arrested today.

The case made headlines after a 24-year old MBA student was gang raped by 11 men in a car near Noida Sector-71 earlier this week. All boys were found out to be residents of Garhi Chowkhandi.
